4 weeks post op and wound bleeding

I had carpal tunnel surgery on the 4th August. My stitches have just dissolved, and the wound has started to bleed is this normal?
I also can not touch my fingers with my thumb , any idea if this is normal at 4 weeks post op

Thanks for your reply. Most symptoms have gone apart from wrist is stiff. I only have a follow up appointment in October. If bleeding still persists after the weekend I will go to the doctors

That's probably reasonable - presumably it's only oozing rather than dripping! JB
No that's not really normal. The wound should have closed fully at 4 weeks with dissolvable sutures though a tiny pinprick of bleeding at the site where a visible suture end has just dropped off would not worry me. It sounds as though the hand is pretty stiff still and that will need working on. Have the original CTS symptoms resolved?
What you should do about it next rather depends on your surgeon's follow-up arrangements. JB
