Big thankyou, after injection number 3 in my right wrist, things took about 3 weeks to settle and feel real benifit, but can honestly say that now it is at treat to go to bed knowing I will get a good nights sleep and only wake once or twice throughout night with very slight pins and needles, without wearing hand braces on both hands. As before I wish I could get the same injection in my neck.
But thankyou and your marvellous team for all your help.

Kind regards

Thankyou for the update. It's interesting that most injections take effect within 48h or so but a few seem to take several weeks - I always wonder if this is just the CTS improving by itself, but as lomg as the symptoms settle it doesn't really matter. JB

Morning
Just thought I would let you know,to date stopped wearing wrist supports at night and have not had any pins and needles that wake me through the night for about 10 days. Still have numbness etc in finger tips but think that is other issues with neck.
Thank you again.

Again thankyou for keeping in touch. One of the surprise benefits of this website has been the ability to keep an eye on patient's symptoms without having to run endless follow-up clinics. It's a pity more people don't make use of it really.. You caould be right about the neck - which fingers are affected? JB

C6 and C7 roots in the neck then probably - but also the same territory as the median nerve in the carpal tunnel more or less so difficult to differentiate between them. If it's manageable I would be inclined to sit tight for a while and see what happens. Time, as they say, is a great diagnostician. JB
