Post injection report
Hi Dr Bland. The steroid injection worked for a couple of weeks but the symptoms have come back and i feel surgery is now my only option .
The first week the symptons were only mild but by the second week i was waking up at least 4 times per night . I am happy to procced with any date in march with the same surgeon .Many Thanks meme jayne

I've booked it so it should be in the post somewhere. The hospital has a tendency to send things out by appallingly slow second class private post sometimes. I'll email you the dates and times as there's no need to broadcast them to the public here. JB
That's a pretty shortlived response. How much difference did it make while it lasted? The degree to which it responds to steroids, even briefly, is generally held to be a fairly good predictor of how it will respond to surgery so it would be interesting to know how much of an impact it had during the good couple of weeks. As the first operation was done by John Ribchester would you be happy for him to operate on the other side? If so then I have provisionally booked a space in March for you. I will send you the dates and times if you confirm that is OK. JB
