CTS & joint synovitis

Hi,
I did CTS endoscopic release 5 months ago.
The sharp pains went away, full strength returned.
However I notice dull pain in the wrist when I do some repetitive stuff or just hold things for quite some time.
The ultrasound did not show tapped nerve, but they found wrist joing synovitis.
Could it be a complication after CTS release? Or it's just a second desease that took place along with my CTS? I had done ultrasound before the surgery and it did not show any synovitis.
Please let me know, thanks!
Quite possibly just a side effect of the surgery - not everyone's wrst takes kindly to having the transverse carpal ligament cut. The other possibility of course is that it is something entirely unconnected. JB
