The splints do not seem to have made much difference so I am proceeding with the injections. These are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. I will keep you updated with progress.

Thanks for the update.There is a pretty good chance of a response to injection, though it is not guaranteed of course. JB

Dear Dr Bland
A further update following my steroid injections the other week. So far all is well. I am pleased to say that I haven't be woken at all at night by my hands. During the day I do get the odd 'electric shock' feelings when I do certain things but nothing that isn't acceptable. I haven't done any sewing and I haven't tried knitting yet but things are looking promising.

So that's 2-3 weeks so far. We usually arrange a formal follow-up about 6 weeks after injection - we'll see how it is then. Thanks for the update. JB
