Following on from my appointment of two weeks ago, I am wearing the splints on a regular basis and have found that the symptoms have been reduced but not eradicated.

If the symptoms are still a significant nuisance to you then I would go ahead and arrange a steroid injection at this point. You can do that by calling the SIPC office - number in the contacts page here. JB
