Hello me again, sorry for yet another question!
I mention in my previous posts that the numbness is worse in my right hand, thumb side ring finger tip and middle fingertip, I have noticed this evening that my ring finger thumb side also feels numbish, is this yet another normality?

Yes pretty much. If you have a look at the hand diagram inthe about-cts page you will see that the median nerve sends a branch to the thumb side of the the ring finger... but not to the little finger side of the ring finger - thus one of the classic signs of a peripheral nerve lesion in the hand is 'splitting' of the ring finger so that only one side of it is affected.
