Owing to another patient cancelling,pre-op for saturday became pre-op and surgery.Quite a surprise!!!! All seemed to go well,my thanks to Dr.Rine and colleagues and to yourself.Will let you know any developments.K

One month post surgery.24hr pain gone,no night awakening.Occasional arthritic? twinges and no feeling as yet returned to thumb and two fingers ,but hand does work!!! Can now hold newspaper/book/guitar without seizing up.Following my doubts regarding surgery,my thanks for persuading me.K

As we started from grade 5 it is possible that there may be gradual improvement in sensation in the fingers over a period of 2 years or so. If you remember to stay in touch that long it will be interesting to see how it turns out. JB
Yes I had an email from Dr Rine and I'll be advertising the vacancy created by the change today. I'm glad it went well. We'll be aiming to check the outcome at about 3 months or so. JB
