Splints

After having a consultation with you last Tuesday, I have been using the splints at night over the past 9 days and only once have I had numbness in the hand. Before using the splints I was getting this every night.

I have a steroid injection booked, in your opinion do you feel I need this at the moment?

Regards
Simon

Ultimately it's up to you whether to proceed with injection but myself I would cancel it if the symptoms resolved entirely with splinting and I was able to go through a few nights without the splint without the problem coming back. How long do we have before the injection appointment? JB

Tried sleeping without the splint last night but numbness came back not severe though and had a particularly hard day at work, the steroid injection is booked for 11th of feb do you think this is a bit soon Thanks Simon

if you are getting symptoms back as soon as you leave the splint off then I would be inclined to get on and inject it I think, but if you want to defer it a it that is not a problem from our point of view. JB
