Dear Dr Bland
Have been advised to contact you on this forum as I have had difficulty getting in contact with you on the telephone.
I had my operation on my left hand last year and my right hand s becoming uncomfortable so need the operation on this hand due to my work commitments I would like if possible to have the operation at a certain date and need to discuss this with you.
We have one GP surgeon off sick at the moment so the surgery service is a little stressed - we are booking about 8-10 weeks ahead for surgery and will need about that much notice if you want to go for a particular date. If you email the dates you are after (my email is in the contacts page) - I will see what I can do. It's probably better not to broadcast exactly when you might be incapacitated on the public forum here. JB
