First Injection has not worked

Hi Doctor. You saw me on 22 April and you agreed to have an injection performed by Dr Warrilow. This was done on 29/4 but it appears to have had no effect. Should I ask Dr W to try again? I am nervous of having surgery on account of my high INR which would have to be reduced dangerously for an op.

Thank you Doctor. I will get an appointmenmt with Dr Warrilow and try again. Many thanks for your help.
This was grade 4 so it may genuinely be unresponsive to steroids but given the circumstances of your anticoagulation you could try a second injection if there were no problems with the first one. We do have a small group of patients who reported no change after one injection but did improve after a second so it is not impossible that it may help. JB
