Post op hand still has pins and needles

I had my operation in 23rd July on my right hand, the symtoms i had before the op were pains and tingling in my fingers ,i could not cut my food properly and could not grip.I had 4 weeks off work before going back to my driving job but i now have permanate tingling in 3 fingers and thumb but not the little finger,if im driving for a long time i get pins and needles and have to keep shaking my hand,will this get better and is there any medication i could take
Is it worse than before surgery? Did you have any nerve conduction studies done before the operation to tell us how bad it was? If we have those two bits of informatino we can have a fair guess at what is happening. JB
