using splint

Hello Jeremy, I saw you last Monday and would like to update you about use of splint.
It seems to help wearing at night was a bit uncomfortable for the first night, and the first three days
there was no pain, numbness., occasionally I woke up with tingling in fingers but not as bad as before.
How long will I need to wear the splint? Thank you very much. chris
Give it about 3-4 weeks and then decide if the symptoms are adequately controlled - if not we will go an and inject it. If it has come under control at that point then try leaving the splints off for a week and see if the symptoms get worse - again if they do then I would consider steroid injection as the next step. JB
