Dr Bland,

I have been in touch with Dr Wetherell's secretary, they had not initially received the referral apparently but it has now been sorted.

The concern i have is that the secretary informed me that it will be the 28th September before i receive an appointment in clinic at WHH (which arrived this morning for Mr Chipperfields Clinic)and months before an appt for an operation as WHH has one of the longest waiting lists.

Due to the severity of my CPT i am willing to come to Canterbury if you agree or if the waiting time would be less.

Please can you advise or help in any way,I would greatly appreciate your time in helping if you can.

Kind Regards
Mrs T Ross

We may be able to do something if you don't mind travelling but it may require a trip to Margate. I will email the hand surgeons when I get back next week - I believe one of them is also away at present - holiday season - and see what can be arranged. I can't make any definite promises though. JB

Not a lot I'm afraid - one surgeon is away in the Black Forest running marathons and the other is just about to take a two week break. Mr Wetherell did however say that he thought the queue at WHH would actually be quite short however once you make it as far as out-patients. I'll let you know if I hear any more but the holiday season is well and truly upon us at present. JB
