I went for my 6 week check up and after 6 weeks all the symptons returned again. The doctor in wye suggested me to speak to you about a further course of injections or an operation. What do you think????
Many thanks

my appointment yesterday with you
Fao Dr Bland,
Hello there, i had a follow up appointment with you yesterday, after giving what we spoke about some thought, i do not want the steroid injections, we spoke of 2 options, the alternative was surgery, which i think would be the better option.
As i work seasonal work only, my time off is half way through November to January, so about this time would be better for my operation, thank you

waiting time for cts operations
just been diagnosed and was given option injection or op said i would think about injection as im selfemployed to give me some time to save for time off work but if waiting list is weeks or months would like to go for op as this would give me time to save anyway p.s i see there is two ways to operate one with a quicker healing time is that available regards marknoble
Dr Bland
Dr Bland,
I have been in touch with Dr Wetherell's secretary, they had not initially received the referral apparently but it has now been sorted.
The concern i have is that the secretary informed me that it will be the 28th September before i receive an appointment in clinic at WHH (which arrived this morning for Mr Chipperfields Clinic)and months before an appt for an operation as WHH has one of the longest waiting lists.
Due to the severity of my CPT i am willing to come to Canterbury if you agree or if the waiting time would be less.
CTS Injection on 2 August 2011 ... Update
Last night I tried sleeping for the first time without a splint. A good result, no numbness or discomfort. So far, the injection appears to be successful. Since the 2nd August, I have been able to carry out all of the activities that would previously have brought on symptoms of CTS without any problems.
Once again, many thanks for your help and advice and I'll keep you updated.
Mrs Pamela Clarke - Message for Dr Bland
Left hand is still painful. Can you put in place the next step please?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards.

Return of Symptoms
Dear Dr Bland, I spoke to you on the phone last week, and as requested I have filled in the on-line symptoms questionnaire. I was diagnosed with Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome last autumn - a score of 2 for my left wrist, and 4 for my right wrist. I had a steroid injection in my right wrist on November 2nd 2010, which worked very well till a couple of weeks ago when symptons began to re-appear. You have kindly arranged an appointment in the K&C Hosp clinic on Sept 1st, but I wll be away that week.Would it be possible to see you one week later? Sorry to be a nuisance. Winston Waller
