Lower arm

Hi, just finnished filling the CTS questionaire and got a 67% score. I was given an I.D of 227016 but was wondering why there was no mention about pain in the arms, as I get so much sevre pain in my left arm that radiates down into my hand that it feels like my limb if on fire, this mainly happens during the night and can continue for some time. The other sensation I have experienced, is that of a electric shock in my left wrist, comes and go's as quick as it starts.
Regards Ronald Spice.

new injections worked again

Thank you for seeing me again last month and agreeing to steroid injections again. As your colleague will tell you I only have two phobia's, one being injections the other having the inside of my wrists touched. Obviously not the perfect patient for this treatment but we managed to laugh our way through it and the result is again wonderful. My thanks to both of you for putting up with me !

Completed questionnaire

Hi Dr Bland,

I have completed the CTS questionnaire. What is the next step?

Kind regards

Excruciating wrist/hands pain,Numbnes,Tingling and Weakness

I have been experiencing intense pains, numbness, tingling sensation and weakness on my wrists and hands(palms )since February 2022. I initially put it down to the cold weather and applied balm, hot towels ,exercises and painkillers (paracetamol and ibrufen). The symptoms keep getting worse despite the warm weather in the past weeks. I struggle to use my laptop for work and to carry out basic household chores. The symptoms are usually worse in the evenings through the nights ,and remain throughout the day although at a more manageable level.
