Steroid Injection Required

Hello.

My right hand has started to go numb when I use my computer at work. I have to stop typing and rest until the numbness passes.

Its been over a year since I had my last steroid jab, and I believe the time has come for another jab.

Is it time for another Injection?

I have had about 6 injections in my right wrist for carpal tunnel. However, my last visit, which was last year, showed that my carpal tunnel had gotten better. I still had an injection though as my symptoms were still bad.
I was off work with a separate ailment for 5 months so didn't need to use my hands as much as I would have done if I was working so I think I have benefitted from the injection longer than previous ones.

Not had a date for surgery

I saw Mr Bland last year and was told I would have surgery. I have not received any information or dates for this, I was putting it down to possibly being Covid putting things on hold but not sure if I have just been forgotten. Can anyone tell me how long the waiting list is at the moment or if they are doing surgery please.

Please can you take a look at both my hands now. The pain has really kicked in the last month or so. Pain throughout wrist area into fingers and joints which are now locking very frequently. Strength is weak and forming a fist is virtually impossible. Would be grateful if you can sort me out like you have done in the past. Many thanks Eddie

Dr Bland i have completed the symptom questionnaire. I wasn't given a reference number at the end but there was a reference number in the update my details section. I'm not sure if it is a previous one as i completed this questionnaire a couple of years ago. EKH117048H

Completed new test and would like an appointment please

My right hand feels like someone has jumped on it most of the night. I'm not sleeping more than half an hour before the pain kicks in. I am finding making a fist difficult now and can't rely on my right hand at all for carrying out tasks.

Cubical tunnel syndrome

Hi I have logged on completed the questionnaire as requested by my GP. I note the questions more related to wrist problems mine are more in my elbow and forearm and I get numb little and ring finger only. I don’t know if I have Cubital or Carpal syndrome maybe? Please can I be considered for an appointment.
