Reminder as requested by Doctor Bland

Good morning

I'm sending my reminder for you Doctor Bland as requested when I last saw you. Unfortunately the last steriod injections I had have made no difference and like you say its time for the operation. This was for my left hand.

Since I saw you my right hand has got considerably worse usual numb fingers etc. But one hand at a time I guess!!

I finish school on the 21st July so any time as near to that if possibly to give me chance to recover for the new term.

Would I be able to get an appointment please to review my carpal tunnel. The pain is travelling to my elbows and I am getting pain and pins and needles in my while forearm.

Help!

The steroid injection initially dulled my symptoms to a more manageable level. Recently my right hand has become worse again.It is painfully numb 90% of the time and seems to be 'hovering' the rest of the time. Wrist braces seem to make it worse and are impractical for work - having said that, my hand is impractical for work anyway! If I cant get this sorted out I will lose/ have to leave my job. Driving is a problem now too.
Where possible I have adapted how I do things but some of the things I have to do for work can't be changed.

Post surgery problems

Good morning Dr. Bland. I am hoping you can help me. I had carpal tunnel surgery on 11/03/2021 but have had no improvement and am still having to get up during the night with pain and I think the numbness and weakness particularly in my thumb is worse. Can you have the injections after surgery? they certainly gave me relief. Ann

I attended the clinic last year and was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands (right worse than left) to which I was administered a steroid injection, due to covid all operations were cancelled.
Since then I have not heard what is happening.
Please could you advise. Have had trouble trying to access forum.
