Flare up

Hi Mr Bland, is it possible to have an appointment for another steroid injection? I have completed a new severity test. Many thanks, Jo

New pain

Hi I had my first test in 2017 and received
a splint for my right hand. It worked wonders
until last year. Have taken the test again and
have new scores. Most of my pain is during the
day. Thanks

Severity test scored 5

I am having severe pain and tingling in my left hand. I’ve had surgery before on my right hand which was successful so I would like surgery again to help me with my left hand.

Right Hand Symptoms

Hi Jeremy

Symptom questionnaire

Hi

I have just completed the online symptom questionnaire as advised by my GP and to let you know when it was done.

Surgery next friday

Hi I'm due to have surgery next Friday but my medication has changed and I wondered if it will affect the op? I'm now not taking aripiprazole or duluxotine i am taking verapamil and lithium the lithium i have started last night woke this morning with hand tremors which I'm assuming will be a problem in surgery? Should I wait for after surgery to start the lithium?
Thanks
Megan

Email contact

I have been referred through by a hospital doctor and have now received my appointment. Having now completed the Self Diagnostic questionnaire do I still need to Email Dr Bland as per the instructions on the home page? It is a little unclear as I already have an appointment

Post steroid injections question

Hello

I received steroid injections in both wrists last week and so far, so good, although I still haven't spent a whole night without my splints.

A couple of questions if I may...
I've been having what I can only describe as hot flushes since the injections, is that common?

Also I was wondering if/when I would be able to resume weight training or is that a no no with CTS. I managed my first pain free cycle ride in about 6 months yesterday.

Many thanks
Tony

PAIN RETURNED AFTER INJECTIONS LAST YEAR

I RECEIVED INJECTIONS IN BOTH HANDS LAST YEAR AND IT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE PAIN HAS RETURNED AND IS KEEPING ME AWAKE AT NIGHT. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE MORE INJECTIONS OR DISCUSS FURTHER TREATMENT.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME.
