Another injection please

Good afternoon Dr Bland.
I was wondering if there was any chance I could have another injection. I have had two, the last one was in June and it is amazing how it works giving relief almost immediately. Unfortunately all the symptoms have returned again and it’s back to the sleepless nights. Many thanks

steroid injection in November

Good afternoon, I had a steroid iinjection in November in my Right wrist which seemed to help for a while but over last few weeks the symptoms have began to creep back and both hands feel painful and if I clench them I feel the pain in all my fingers, the fizzy feeling and numbness are coming back also. I do wear my splints some nights when my hands feel painful after using them all day.

Feedback after steroid injection

Hi

I came to the clinic on the 30th November and following tests I had a conversation with Dr Nick(?) who gave me the option of having steroid injections there and then.

First of all I want to say thank you for such excellent service and efficiency. Really friendly staff too.

Secondly, I'm very pleased to say the injections have worked really well so far, no pain in the mornings in my thumb, index or middle fingers of either of my hands since.

Pain returned after steroid injections

Hi I had a steroid injection last year that relived the pain in my wrists and hand but has returned over the last few months. Was wondering if I could discuss what actions to take next. The wrist splint works during the day but it wakes me up most nights. Tried paracetamol and ibuprofen but it only masks the pain. Are there any painkillers that would help?

Thanks Duncan McGinley

Pre assessment for today’s appointment

I’ve filled out the form with reference to how my current problems are affecting me with my forearm up as at the moment, as you know, not specific to my hands. Hope I’ve done the right thing.
Kind regards.

Possible steroid injection appointment

Dear Jeremy.

I had a steroid injection in the wrist of my right hand last year and was wondering when could it be possible to do so again? The pain and numbness has come back and soon will be unbearable for me. I hope you can fit me in as soon as able, and thank you for your hard work.

CTS symptoms worse

I received steroid treatment in June 2020, there was a slow improvement in both hands, but from December up to present numbness and tingling have got worse, and on a few occasions I have dropped, or been unable to hold a plate with my left hand. I have extreme difficulty opening jars or bottles with screw caps.

My symptoms have worsened

Good afternoon

My symptoms of carpal tunnel have become extremely severe and I have a 10week old baby which I am currently unable to pick up or care for due to the symptoms of my carpal tunnel being so severe.
Please could this be taken into consideration when my appointment is being reviewed.

Thanks
