Updated Diagnostics

Good Afternoon Dr Bland,

I have updated my diagnostics, I had the injection in my hand back in November but over the last couple of weeks I have been getting symptoms returning in my right hand which was initially treated.

During the appointment it was discussed about getting retested if / when symptoms return. Can I have an appointment scheduled to look at my right hand again please.

Kind Regards

David Minns

Repeat Steroid injections?

Hi Dr Bland
I have updated my profile with new symptoms
I had injections last July with excellent results but the last few weeks the symptoms have come back
Really just asking if having the injections again is a possibility thanks

Thank you

Dr. Bland,
Thank you for arranging such a quick appointment. I have been dreading today (after a year away) because I cannot bear the inside of my wrists being touched. So therefore the worst possible CTS patient. However again today (like last year) the young lady dealing with electric shocks to gauge severity found it so funny that we laughted through it together. Then Rachel had the task of dealing with two injections where I hate it most. I have apologised again, but once again this year she was wonderful and I cannot thank her enough.

Surgery date?

Hi there. I had my pre assessment phone call.

Was wondering if there was a date to have my surgery. The pain in really bad. The pain is really bad all the time and I don’t what any major damage to happen

Thanks
Duncan McGinley

Symptom questionnaire

Hi, I have just completed the online symptom questionnaire

Judt completed questionnaire

Hi, I've just completed and fear I may have completed incorrectly as my result has come back with 9% chance of CTS, I have had CTS surgery on both hands 13 years ago, the symptoms have returned in my left hand, non dominant hand, severe numbness, tinkling permanently now. Have worn a hand splint for last month which hadn't helped at all. My fear is now that questionnaire has come back as 9%, will I be offered an appointment, my gp has referred me. This type of system all very new to me. Regards Tracy

Just a quick update, I saw Dr Bland on the 13th Jan and he confirmed that I did indeed have CTS, was booked in for injections the next day ! Well all I can say is a massive thank you, after sleepless nights, crying with the pain and pins and needles that took over an hour to go, I can honestly say my results have been amazing. The next day I had some pins and needles but no where anything like I was used to, I can only speak from my experience but would suggest giving the injections a go, for me nothing short of a miracle and hope the effects last.
