2 rounds of steroid injections
Hi Dr Bland,
I have now had 2 sets of steroid injections (June/July 2019 and February 2020).
My hands (particularly my right hand) are once again starting to ‘go’. I’m not sure how long to leave before I should come back and see you. We discussed the surgery option it it reappeared and would like to discuss this with you please.
Thanks,
Francesca
My carpal-tunnel
Dear Dr. Bland
I’m writing to you regarding the state of my carpal tunnel syndrome.
In the last couple of years I had two sets of steroid injections by Emma which worked quite well. The last time was April last year.
My wrists are the worst it’s ever been now to the point where I’ve lost all strength in my hands and my job is to work with my hands and also my sport requires proper function of my wrists.
The last time I saw you I’ve asked if we could put me up for the CTS operation but I have not received any correspondence for that.

Numbness
Dear Dr Bland,
symptoms following steroid injections
Hi. I had repeat injections in both wrists on Monday 20th July, by Emma. For the first couple of days I had no reaction but since last Thursday the symptoms of carpel tunnel syndrome have come back worse. I have throbbing up both forearms and in both wrists together with the usual tingling in my fingers. Is this usual, or am I being too impatient for results. I am currently wearing splints on both wrists to see if this helps. Your comments would be appreciated.
