Returning symptoms

Hello,
I have CTS in both hands together with Dupytrens in both hands. I have had injections in both wrists to ease the symptoms which they have done to a good degree. I am at present awaiting surgery with Mr Smith to operate on the CTS and the Dupytrens on each hand. I have elected to have my right hand treated first as the Dupytrens is more severe. However the CTS symptoms in my left hand have returned with a vengeance, and given the waiting times is it possible to have another steroid injection in my left hand.

Hand is on fire!

Hi

It's been a while now since my last steroid injection in my right wrist and the pain has now returned with a vengeance. It's far worse in my right hand and, eventhough I'm wearing the split at night, I still wake up and my hand is on fire. I've lost a lot of strength and I'm constantly dropping stuff. Driving is also becoming an issue as I have a long commute to work and by the time I get to the office I'm in a lot of pain. The left wrist is also starting to get worse. I'm almost at my witts end and it's really affecting my everyday life. Any help would be grealy appreciated.

Need Soething more

Hi I have had 5 or 6 injections now and I have always said that if I can manage without surgery then I would. I am now at a point when I do not think that I can cope with my wrist anymore. I have constant pain in the wrist with the constriction causing painful numbness in my fingers that is affecting my work. The pain and constant aching is keeping me awake at night.

Hi.. I came into Canterbury clinic four weeks ago. I was given a splint to try for a month to see of my symptoms improved at all,and to leave a message on here to let you know how it went.. unfortunately the splint seems to have made it worse, waking up in the night with pain and numbness.
Kind regards mike

Carpal Tunnel Release

Good afternoon

I'm trying to get an appointment sorted for carpal tunnel release (right hand) and am having a few problems trying to book an appointment, so am hoping you might be able to help.

Post surgery

Hello Dr Bland, had surgery on my right hand last Wednesday and so far things are feeling better especially at night although I still do have persistent numbness in my middle finger. When would it be possible to have my left hand treated as simple symptoms are occurring and the doctor who carried out my surgery recommended treatment on it sooner rather than later. Thank you for your time.

carpal tunnel success

Just an update on my recent treatment for my carpal tunnel. I seem to have had total relief from the symptoms which is great and as a bonus the injection seems to have eased the artheritis in my fingers. Thankyou for great service.

CAN YOU LLEASE CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT TIME FOR TOMORROW

Hi there

I have been referred by my GP, but after having an x-ray, I was informed it was arthritis. However I was contacted by you guys and advised I should still come for my appointment. I have only just realised I got rid of the letter when I called to cancel! Would you mind confirming the time for me please? I think its 2.30. Many thanks in advance

I request an appointment

From Dec 2015 to Aug 2016, I attended your clinic for CTS in my left hand . After 2 lots of cortisone (I think) injections, the symptoms cleared and you discharged me. About 6 months ago, the symptoms returned in my left hand. I waited until now in the hope of improvement but there is none. I have completed a pain/symptoms questionnaire. I actually did 2 but in he first I made mistakes but could not go back; I recorded pain for numbness - I have no pain. Should I go through my GP or is it OK to contact you direct?
