Post surgery
Hello Dr Bland, had surgery on my right hand last Wednesday and so far things are feeling better especially at night although I still do have persistent numbness in my middle finger. When would it be possible to have my left hand treated as simple symptoms are occurring and the doctor who carried out my surgery recommended treatment on it sooner rather than later. Thank you for your time.

carpal tunnel success
Just an update on my recent treatment for my carpal tunnel. I seem to have had total relief from the symptoms which is great and as a bonus the injection seems to have eased the artheritis in my fingers. Thankyou for great service.
CAN YOU LLEASE CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT TIME FOR TOMORROW
Hi there
I have been referred by my GP, but after having an x-ray, I was informed it was arthritis. However I was contacted by you guys and advised I should still come for my appointment. I have only just realised I got rid of the letter when I called to cancel! Would you mind confirming the time for me please? I think its 2.30. Many thanks in advance
I request an appointment
From Dec 2015 to Aug 2016, I attended your clinic for CTS in my left hand . After 2 lots of cortisone (I think) injections, the symptoms cleared and you discharged me. About 6 months ago, the symptoms returned in my left hand. I waited until now in the hope of improvement but there is none. I have completed a pain/symptoms questionnaire. I actually did 2 but in he first I made mistakes but could not go back; I recorded pain for numbness - I have no pain. Should I go through my GP or is it OK to contact you direct?
Possible treatment
Dr. Bland you tested m e for. CTS on the 18th July. I have returned to my GP and have been referred to hand and wrist orthopedics at Canterbury, reading the information I understand treatment may not be given for 34 weeks. At the time you examined my hands your opinion was that I required treatment soon as my right hand was level 5. IAM now finding my hands are very painful day and night, is there anything you can suggest in the meantime?
Update after appointment
Sorry not sure if this is the right place for feed back. Had injection left wrist approx 7 weeks ago. I think it was a 2. In general much better, had a few episodes of tingling random times no particular activity for first 2 weeks, now very occasional and brief. No after effects of injection.
Sudden Onset of Severe Pain
I was last at the clinic in December 2016. My hand/finger pain symptoms have been coming and going since and for the past several months I have been experiencing pins/needles and pain in my right arm overnight. Three days ago I suddenly felt pain/weakness in my right forearm and radiating down with an increased level of pain/stiffness in the fingers. The pain continues unabated and is very hard to bear - it feels all the time as if I have just suffered a very severe sprain.
NHS next year.
Hi Dr Bland
I have had the surgery and my hand feels better already so would like ther other hand done sometime,I was reading that the NHS are going to stop these Ops as being deemed not important.
What are your thoughts and knowledge.

Feedback from appointment
Hi, I had treatment 6 weeks ago, injections in both wrists and wanted to report that my right hand immediately felt better with no symptoms at all, that wrist being rated 4 and I had been suffering with a constant dead arm and tingling of most of the hand. My left wrist took around 3 weeks for the tingling in the thumb to disappear but has now totally disappeared, that wrist being rated 3. Many thanks.
