Injections in wrist

I had injections in both wrist back in February.
This has helped me a lot although
I still get a lot of tingling when painting
Or writing.
I am holding bags a bit better now.
Still pain in the elbows when carding things.
I have had no side effects and only experience discomfort
Of pressure when having them done.
Thanks tina.lewis

Appointment

Hi Doctor Bland

I'm very sorry to mess you around but I have just realised that I am working Monday 18th June, is it possible to have a new appointment any day after 2pm.

Thank you

Dawn

My Hands

Good morning
I have been wearing the hand supports every night until a week ago when we went on holiday.
I am very happy to say that I have only experienced pins and needles in my left hand once since our return.
None in the right. I will continue wearing the supports if any tingling occurs.
Thank you, I will write again in another six weeks.
With regards
Mary Fomison

L/H symptoms now severe

Dear Dr. Bland,
I had carpal tunnel surgery several years ago, arranged by you and carried out by Dr. John Rine, which was and remains entirely satisfactory. The symptoms in my left hand have become increasingly more painful and debilitating, I use crutches for walking, and I wonder if now is the time for surgery on that hand. I would be grateful for an appointment please.

Update from injection

Afternoon

Following a steroid injection just to my left hand this time (23/4/18), glad to report received no side affects like the previous first injections where both wrists were injected and then I suffered flash burns (redness,) to upper arms and my hands became severely swollen.

However I am now in week 3 of the injection and my left hand is still extremely cold and still getting severe tingling and numbness, where last time this symptom disappeared within 3 days of injection and lasted for about 6 months.
Pain however has improved. Should I just continue with this?

Return symptoms left hand

Afternoon, I have had a post op follow up with my GP but I have returning symptoms in my left hand. I wonder if it is possible to get another steroid injection?
Thanks Caroline Harris - 70625

return of symptoms

Dear Dr Bland and Emma Kale

Emma gave me an injection in both wrists in January 2017. My symptoms have now returned worse in right hand. Would it be possible please to have another injection?

Also they diagnosed tendinitis on my left hand, I go for hand therapy Monday, I'll keep you posted on how that goes.

Need Another injection

Hi, I had an injection in my left hand around 8 months ago and it’s starting to become very painful again, could I be booked in for another injection please, I felt the injection did work. Thanks

Swollen tendons

Hi. Several weeks ago I had a steroid injection in my right wrist. It worked for a while but the numbness is now starting to come back. My tendons are also very pronounced and painful and I seem to have a dip on the underside of my wrist with a green bruise. It's now been there for over three weeks and I'm starting to get concerned. Thanks.
