Symptom Update
Hi Jeremy
I came to see you at the beginning of January with numb fingers in the night.
My severity score was a 2 on my right wrist and a 1 on my left wrist. You suggested a splint to wear at night
which I have been wearing each night and is very successful as I hardly ever wake up with numb fingers. So I am
happy to continue with this.
I do however do seasonal work at a garden nursery and am returning to this at the beginning of March. I did not
realise until recently, that last summer, when watering for an hour or two at a time at waist height, that the reason
Wrist lumps
I have had steroid injections in my wrists for the last 2-3 years. Over the last few months I seem to have developed a hard lump in my right wrist. It is restricting my hand movement and my thumb feels very weak, almost like it will dislocated. This is painful and affects how I can hold/pick things up. Anyone else ever had something similar?
Next appointment.
Hello,
Apologies for previously posting in the incorrect place. I would like to attend another appointment and wondered how I’d go about arranging one.

1st Steroid injection 20th November 2018
Hi, I had my 1st steroid injection on 20th November last year in my right wrist with no ill effects until now. Weekend just gone the tingling and numbness returned when out cycling. and since then, my whole wrist is now in pain worse than before I had injection. Does this mean the injections are of no benefit to me?
Update of symptoms
Hi
I had injections in both wrists on 4th December 2018. I would like to update my symptoms and can report that they have reduced and I am pain free although there is still a slight tingling in my right wrist. Otherwise I have no problems with this.

Update of symptoms
Dear Dr Bland,
You/Emma sent me a letter requesting an update since the appointment last October. I have completed a symptoms severity questionnaire and the result reflects quite well how I would describe the current levels.
The answers to the letter are as follows (my patient number with you on the letter is 104369):
Returning symptoms following injections
Hi,
I had steroid injections in both wrists in May 2018 and after 7 months of no symptoms at all then have sadly returned with pins and needles in both hands at night time. The right hand is particularly bad. A splint helps but doesn’t stop the pins and needles completely and is awkward when trying to sooth a 11 month old baby during the night. Would it be possible to arrange another appointment please?

Six week review
Hi, i had steroid injection back in Nov. The severe pain has stopped and on the whole so has the pins and needles and tingling. However, I do have some nights where I wake with the pins and needles or hold my hand in the same position for too long! Overall an improvement to when I came to see you. Let's hope it continues!
Thank you

Six Week Review
Hi,
As requested, I am writing to let you know how my symptoms are since my steroid injections on the 3rd December. I have had no pain or numbness on either side, just some tingling in both hands.
