Severe Pain
Dear Jeremy,
Problems returned
I had my last injection for cts in my right hand on April 20th at my GP surgery but the symptoms have again returned. I saw a consultant on 22 May but due to the injection, the results of the test were improved. She advised I should contact your service as soon as my symptoms returned in order for more intervention. I am going on holiday on 12 November and hope it will be possible to have a further injection prior to that date. Please contact me as soon as possible. I will also leave a message on your ansaphone. Many thanks Wendy Bartlett
Returned symptoms
Hi Doctor Bland
I'm afraid my symptoms have returned in my left hand, I've been trying to manage it but my index finger tip has gone numb again now and the pain in my wrist is getting worse. Would it be possible to have an appointment please?
Many thanks

Poss return of carpal tunnel issue in left hand
I have been experiencing very dead hands at night for last 6-8 weeks but thought at first it may have been a neck issue as also occasional headaches. I have been having treatment from osteopath for it. Now I am having ‘stabbing pains’ going down left middle finger and sometimes first finger. Also a dull ache in wrist. This with a loss of grip/power in left hand makes me think my last injection has worn off. It can happen when I am not doing anything at all, but definitely happens if I have been knitting or sewing, gardening and peeling vegetables.
Many thanks
Update following injection
Dr Bland
Following my appointment on 17/07/19 and injection the same day, I have now completed the follow up questionnaire to consider. Apologies for delay - personal issues.
I await your opinion for any next steps or further investigations.
Many thanks

Injection required again please
Good morning,
I’m experiencing horrible pain and numbness in my left wrist again and wondered if I could please book in for an assessment ?
I am Ashford based so please could this be a week day between 10-2pm? That way I can still do the school run.
Look forward to hearing from you
Thanks , Lou Podbilski (nee Evans)
Return of carpel tunnel in right hand.
Dear Mr Bland, following surgery on my left hand in January 2017 the carpel tunnel syndrome in my right hand improved so much I have not needed to contact you . The last few weeks the pain, numbness and tingling has got much worse in my right hand and I have had some sleepless nights because of it. Would it be possible to make an appointment again to complete some tests and talk about treatment.
Yours faithfully
Nigel Watson

Appointment Request
Hi,
I had my second round of injections on my right wrist in February and have been suffering with symptoms for the past few months. Would be grateful for a follow up appointment. Many thanks Jennie Diddams
update from diagnosis.
Hello.
I have been using the splints as instructed during the night and this has definitely helped with the lessening of pins and needles. However, if I do cleaning or in-fact anything using my hands repetitively, I still get pain which can be mild to severe, causing pain to focus mainly on my thumbs, wrists and to travel up my arm and the sensation of a band twanging is still evident.
Return of symptoms
Dear Dr Bland
I last saw Emma in clinic on 8th May 2018 and was given a steroid injection in my right hand. This has lasted for over a year but I am now experiencing pain and numbness in my right hand once again. I am now finding that writing and holding the steering wheel when driving is very uncomfortable. Please can I have another appointment to see either you or Emma to discuss my options to relieve the pain. I have filled in another questionnaire.
Many thanks Pauline
