Good afternoon, I had a steroid injection in my right wrist back in 2023 I believe and have been pretty much pain/numbness etc free up until the end of August this year. The symptoms have now returned to about the level before the injection. My left wrist has remained very mild and still doesn’t really cause me much bother. My contact details are all the same as previously.

Operation

Good afternoon,
I had an operation on my right wrist in January 2024 and since then I’ve just been managing my left wrist carpel tunnel well. But over the last few months it has increasingly become more painful. I was wondering if I could be put forward to having the operation on my left wrist please.

Just to check if I was still on the list for surgery for my left wrist

I previously had a surgery on my right wrist in the summer. I was told I needed to have both done again just checking if I was still on the list for my left.

Steroid injection update

Following my visit to your clinic on 27.8.25
You diagnosed me with grade 4 carpal tunnel in both hands.
You advised me to go on the waiting list for operation on both hands ,in which I agreed to.
You gave me cortisone injections to both.
The present situation is that I only wake up occasionally in the morning with pins and needles in both hands ( fingers) sometimes effecting the little fingers.
However in general I am getting a much better nights sleep.

Referral query

Hi Doctor Bland

You referred me for surgery on my right hand back in January, during the summer I was offered a next day appointment which unfortunately I couldn't do as I was away, the chap at outpatients assured me I would be contacted again but I'm wondering now if I'm still referred....I can't find any information on it and neither can anyone else.

My hand has been fairly bad lately so it's something I really need done.

Any idea who or how I can find out if I'm on a list?
