Hi Dr Bland,

Managed to update my CTS on here.
Was wondering if I could be placed on your appointment waiting list and sent a letter home to be seen in clinic. Although my score doesn't seem bad, I have more and more issues with certain movements like washing my hair and driving due to numbness in left hand fingers again (except pinkie). Wouldn't like it to get too bad, as I am a wheelchair user and only have my hands to rely on.

New Severity score

I had a steroid injection back in Aug/Sept 2024, and all was good. However I have during August 2025, had symptoms return and get worse, all on record, i was hoping another steroid injection could help. contact via email as before, many thanks Alison Halsey

Additional surgery

Good afternoon. Last year I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left wrist as it was the most problematic. The results are amazing and I've had no issues what so ever and a complete recovery and transformation. I have been putting off having my right hand done as it is my dominant hand. Now it it's becoming quite problematic both at home and work. I have completed a new cts score. Is this the correct procedure and wait to receive your advice? Thank you in advance. J.Moat

New severity score

After having brilliant results since my last injection, my symptoms have started to creep back. I have completed a new severity score as I am getting pain on the left and more pain on the right now, thank you

Hi it’s been just over a year since my last injections and I am now in need of injections again as carpal pains have returned

Splint trail plus exercise

I have used the splints nearly every night since my appointment with you. I have also researched and implemented a carpal tunnel exercise routine which I do daily. This has helped my symptoms but not eradicated them. What should I do now?

After two injections to my right wrist, l have been pleasantly surprised how long I have managed
Pain.
Its been several months since any problems/pain returning. Sadly the pain has inflamed in both wrists up to
Elbows. My hands have been aching all night and wearing splints has not helped.
Please can l arrange an appointment

I had my 6th or 7th injection at the end of April. It is usually a year seperation between injections. What a relife, the pain was horrendous in the hand and up the arm to just past the elbow. I was waking up 3 or 4 times a night with the pain. After the injection I had my first full nights sleep in ages. The pain was completely gone. I have had knumbness at the end of my index and middle finger since though. First thing in the morning occasionally all my fingers can be knumb until I start moving them about.
