Questionnaire completed

Hello, I've completed the severity questionnaire as requested. Many thanks, Mark

Severity score updated

Carpal tunnel symptoms have returned and are keeping me awake at night. I'm using wrist supports and taking paracetamol. Can I have an appointment please.

Operation both hands

I have again received benefit from injections in both wrists for around six months giving sleep continuity. However I am now constantly waking and turning in bed to drop and hand down vertically to relieve numbness and pain, alternating in each hand throughout the night.

Carpal tunnel appointment

Hi Dr Bland,

I have just completed the questionnaire and hope for an appointment to look at my carpal tunnel. I have previously been to the nerve clinic (cannot log in to old account) but following two pregnancies, my symptoms have worsened and I now have permanent numbness in the tips of some of my fingers and increased tingling/numbness during ordinary tasks. My previous name before marriage was Eleanor Hurley.

I hope to hear back.

Thank you

Hand/Finger pain returning

Good morning Dr Bland. I have been gradually suffering more with the pains in both hands. This is bad at night but it’s getting worse during the day. Trigger finger is there now daily and it’s making my finger really painful after snapping it back into position. Wrist pain is also there daily now. Please can you advise of the next course of action. Thanks in advance. Eddie

Carpal Tunnel slowly coming back.

Hello there, I had my injections done in both hands on the 13th December 2023 and my carpal tunnel disappeared overnight. However, I'm now starting to have symptoms again, especially when holding cutlery. Any advice as to what the next step is? Thank you in advance!

Returning symptoms in Right hand and new symptoms in left

I saw Dr Bland in March 2023, and, after assessment, received a steroid injection into my right wrist - plus advice on using a wrist splint overnight. This treatment worked a treat. However, I mislaid my wrist splint while on holiday last September. Symptoms in my right hand started to recur around December and by Christmas I started to wake at night with pain in my right hand. I have purchased a Boots wrist splint, which I wear overnight - and this has eased the pain; but I am still getting tingling in the fingers during the day.

Re-occurence of symptoms

Having last seen you 2017/2018 (I cannot remember exact date), after having tests and steriod injections in both wrists. Since then I have had no real problems, but as of the last few weeks both wrists have been very painful. I would appreciate an appointment to see you again. Ps I have Carried out a Severity Assessment test

Regards
Barry Crudgington

Returning pain

The pain and tingling has returned in my left hand and fingers, waking me in night and finding sleep difficult, would it be possible to have another injection, many thanks

Returning symptoms

Hello. Symptoms are gradually returning and are starting to be problematic. Also have a GP appointment in a week for what is likely to be trigger finger in middle L finger, which is causing pain and weakness.
