Following CT surgery I am now suffering from severe stiffness in my right hand with an inability to create a fist shape. This is accompanied by aching from my wrist to my elbow, particularly first thing in the morning? Would it be possible to for this to be reviewed ?

I had an incredible year with no CP symptoms at all for the first time ever in so many years since coming to see you. Only now in November, left had numbness at night and morning has been slowly creeping back.

Post surgery numbness

Good evening,
I had a steroid injection in my left hand on the 11th September with no changes in quite problematic symptoms.
I had surgery on my left wrist on the 12th October.
I appreciate it is early days but as of yet i have noted no improvements. I am still totally numb in my middle finger and some noted numbness in my index finger and thumb. Wrist is still quite sore post surgery.
Is this quite normal? and i'm just a bit impatient?

Steroid Injections and updated questionnaire

Good Morning Dr Bland,

My precious patient thread had to be shut down due to an error in the page.

My hands have become very numb again and waking me up a lot during the night. Also struggle to change my baby so thought it was time to have steroid injections in both hands if possible please? I know I am going to need the surgery but I am unable to have this whilst my baby is so young.

Very severe numbness

I am wondering if I could be seen again. Numbness in left hand and wrist is now awful at night and tingling on and off all day. Have completed a new score today. Regards

Hi, thankfully it’s been a long time since I last needed your help. Unfortunately the same problem is rearing its head! Last time it was solved by injections and I’ve very gratefully been able to go from disabling pain to almost normal. However in the last few weeks I’ve noticed the same pain and more so in the left arm. Granted it’s nowhere near what it was but I don’t want to get to the stage where the pain was all consuming.
