Update
I have just submitted a new severity form
Bruising
Good morning, I came into the clinic last Wednesday for my steroid injection in both wrists my left wrist feels mostly back to normal however my right one has quite a deep bruise and I'm finding writing/typing very difficult with sometimes sharp pains going in my hand/up my arm? Not sure if it's because I'm right handed therefore it's taking longer to heal? But it's quite painful/worrying as haven't had this type of reaction before to an injection.
Successful operations
Operations in June and November at Estuary View Whitstable on left and right hand.
No recurrence of night-time numbness or pain in either hand since and no more need for "dangling". Also no scarring easily visible on either hand which is pretty remarkable. Slight numbness in fingertips remains which make buttons a bit of a fiddle.
I put off having operations for over twenty years suffering years of disturbed sleep as a consequence. Just want to reassure those with severe CTS to get the operations if offered.
Thank you Jeremy.
CTS record results
When I attended my latest appointment at the William Harvey Hospital we had a look at my latest CTS record/Severity Assessment results however the results showed a blank for the 'Chance of CTS'. I was told to contact Dr Jeremy Blind so that you could have a look at my results and see if there is a chance of my carpal tunnel returning. Thank you
Carpal tunnel returning?
Hi, I was last at the hospital in December 2023 for an injection in my right hand. Over the last few months my hand has been locking up (mainly my little finger) whilst typing and it hurts when I type. I am not sure if This is carpal tunnel kicking back in as I do not have many pins and needles as I had previously my hands now tend to lock/stiffen
Symptoms returned
The injections have worked well for me but pins and needles/ tingling has now returned. I’ve completed an updated severity questionnaire.

Good morning Doctor Bland
Just wondering if its possible to have an appointment please, my right wrist is very bad with numbness pain again.
Apologies in my last message for Christmas appointments, any appointment I will be very grateful for.
Also a time when I saw you, you kindly discovered my ulner nerve in the elbow was inflamed casing my little finger to tingle (left arm) im back there again. Am i right in thinking this isn't something you deal with and I need to contact my doctor?

Weakness in wrists
Hello,
I used to come yearly from a steroid injection in my wrist and this always helped my symptoms of numbness. I've nkt been in a few years as the numbness had stayed away for a long time however it has recently returned and now I have quite severe weakness in both wrists that's quite painful doing daily activities.
Will an injection still work for this?
