Completed symptom questionnaire
I was referred by my GP and Have been referred to get EMG and NCS test for possible carpel tunnel done. I actually got the referral letter on 23th of may but being socially anxious slowed me down, along with the sick time i got from work making me hope "it'll go away" Back then i did the survey without making an account with a 23% chance of CTS... but since it got better because i was not working.
Questionnaire Query
Good evening, I have this evening complete the questionnaire and received back a low score 7% likelihood of CTS. However I wanted to advise that in the current climate of struggling to see a GP, I have consulted a Pharmacist on 2 occasions when I have a flare up both have mentioned possible Carpal tunnel, I also visited the walk in centre more than 6 months ago again for a similar issue who provided a splint and suggested Carpal Tunnel due to the location of the pain.

Hi had carpal surgery done on my left hand in January this year. It took longer to heal than when had right hand done
and am still experiencing a shooting pain up left arm and feels like there is a lump where the scaring is. Do you have any advice that may help

I've had it before a few years ago. But have recently had twins and since then my carple tunnel on my right wrist/hand is getting worse and I'm struggling to push the pram and to drive.

appointment requested
Hi, in August 2021 my doctor suggested I refer myself for tests for carpal tunnel syndrome, so I completed a diagnostic questionnaire. He also recommended wearing wrist supports at night, which did stop the pain and tingling, however these symptoms have returned I have never had an appointment for EMG and NCS and would like to request one, please.
Thank you
I just wanted to say Thank You very much to you and your team. I had put up with symptoms for 18 months before learning of your service and being seen within 2 weeks and treated (steriod injection and wrist support/splint)! That in itself is amazing. I have had the odd day when a few symptoms have returned - but I would say 98% free now. I do need to wear the wrist support every night. But I am so grateful. Thank you.
Returned Symptoms
Morning Mr.Bland
I had a steroid inject back in December and they normally last around 12 mo this but I’m already having symptoms returning.
Would it be possible to come in and have an assessment and hopefully another a steroid injection?
Thanks Lou
Pain returns
Hi I’m now in need of another injection please as after a year my pain has returned again ,
Steroid Injection Required
Hi. I had my last injection over a year ago, and my right hand / fingers are starting to go numb again especially when using my computer or driving my car. I believe i would require another steroid injection.
Should I cancel my appointment?
I have an appointment at Canterbury hospital to check the severity of my carpal tunnel. It's my right hand that's particularly bothersome. Unfortunately, I fell and broke a metacarpal in my left hand on the 12th April. Should I re arrange my appointment which is booked for Tuesday 25th April?
