Question for Dr Bland
I came to see you on December 14. You may recall that in 2003 I consulted you and, after tests, I was told I had CTS in my right wrist but at that time I declined surgery. In December having had an initial Consultation and impressive Tests with one of your colleagues, followed by one with you, I learned that my CTS condition was 75% better than in 2003. You advised that one option was an injection. This is not an option I wish to pursue.

I had surgery on my left hand at the end of October, performed by Dr Rine at Reculver. The experience was not disagreeable, the procedure conducted very smoothly and confidently with every effort to put me at my ease. There were no after effects save the expected soreness, which did not last very many days. The great benefit is that I have not had a disturbed night's sleep since.
Notes
Hi. I still haven't heard anything from you. The last time we spoke you were going to look through my notes but that's been at least 2 months ago.
I'm still in so much pain with my elbows and still have knumbness in my fingers. I need some help as I don't know what to do next.
Regards
Waiting for surgeons appointment
Hi Dr Bland
I attended your clinic on 07/01/16 and you diagnosed a severe case of Carpal Tunnel and was going to refer me to my local hand surgeon. I was just wondering when I should hear something and what the referral procedure was as it is quite painful. Sorry for bothering you and thank you for you and your teams excellent treatment.
Painful wrist
Good afternoon, I had my right wrist injected in May 2015 but symptoms have returned & worse in that wrist. Pins & needles at night and I have more pain than I have before. It also feels weak at times when I grip which is worrying me. Could I come & see you again for tests/another injection? Thanks
Injection successful
Just wanted to up-date Emma that the injection I had on 2nd December in my right wrist appears to have been successful. Very occasionally getting pins and needles and the pain in fingers is a lot lot better. It will be interesting to see how it copes when my workload increases again. Thank you
Consultant information
Good morning,
Following my nerve conduction test, I have decided to go ahead with the operation on my right wrist. I have been in contact with my Private insurance to arrange my operation. Before I can have a pre op consultation, they need to know the speciality of the Consultant doing the operation so they can direct me to the relevant person.
Many thanks in advance
Wrist splints unsuccesful
Hi, I had an appointment at the clinic in November last year and was given wrist splints to wear as a first treatment. I have worn these religiously for several weeks but they are not helping. There is improvement over night when they are actually being worn but when removed the symptoms return. I would like to talk to you again about further options please.
Getting an appointment
Good morning,
I have been diagnosed with CTS by my local GP and wearing the splint at night has not worked and my symptoms are getting worse. she told me to fill out the questionnaire on this site, which I have, and I can get an appointment for the clinic via this website, is this correct?
Kind regards
Appointment change please
I've been sent an appointment for the 11th of January, unfortunately I can't get time off work for this, I have spoken to a lady on your reception who cancelled the appointment but wasn't able to make me a new one. Can I please have an appointment in the afternoon as I finish work by 2 every day.
Thank you
Dawn x
