Numb fingertips

Morning, I saw you a few months ago when I had my hand injected. It worked for a while, and I used a split. I now find that I wake up with tingling and numbness in that hand, the right, and have numbness in my finger tips, both hands. It makes it difficult to pick up small objects etc. I use a scalpel in my work, so a m obviously concerned. Could it be something other than the C T S? Do I need to see you, or should I go to my G.P. ? I know my nerve conduction test was borderline last time, which is one of the reasons I am wondering if it maybe something else.

CT Pain is back

Dear Dr Bland

Last time I saw you was in July this year and we discussed the Injections. I would like to have the injections done please as the pain in my wrists is getting worse during the day aswel now.

Please point me to right direction on how to proceed further?

Completed new CTS Survey

Hello Dr Bland,
12 months after the 4th injection I can happily report that the tingling has NOT yet returned. My history indicates the remission usually lasts for about 18 months, but all is well at present.
I have just completed another survey test as requested by email.

carpal tunnel pain back

I had injection for carpal tunnel which worked very well, it was quite a while ago maybe 6 months or more, I will have to check,
but much to my disappointment its come back, waking me at night with pins and needles and in day a little as well, I have started wearing wrist braces again, but wonder if I should come back for more injections, please advise.

After having the steroid injection in the right wrist I having had any pain but my left hand is really playing up I can't straighten my middle finger with out it being really painful and at the beginning of the finger on the hand seems to be swollen and tight hard to explain and I hope you understand what I'm trying to say

No improvement in right hand

Since end of July I have been wearing the brown tendon/ligament stretchers on both hands religiously each night.
My left hand (Grade 1 cts) has improved somewhat.
However my right hand (Grade 2 cts) which is my main use hand, has not. I am still experiencing numbness and tingling when I hold phone or book. In addition I have found on several occasions, when I wake up, that my right hand fingers are actually numb!

Therefore I am asking please to have a steroid injection in my right hand by Dr Warrilow at the Charing practice where I am a patient.

Return carpal tunnel syndrome

Dear Dr Bland, I came to see you, I think it was November 2013, I had injections in both wrists and I was fine until a few months ago, when I started to get symptoms again in both wrists I went to the doctor for pain relief and he diagnosed my right wrist as tendonitis, but I'm still getting pins and needles and numbness in both wrists as well as sharp pain in my right. Is it possible to make an appointment to be re tested please.
