Dear Dr Bland,

I have had a series of steroid injections in my wrists - 2 in the left and 4 in the right. Last summer I had steroid injections in both wrists, which worked well for a while but my right wrist is causing problems again - pins and needles when I hold anything. Can I arrange an appointment to see you please? NB I am away for the next 2 weeks.

CP Surgery

I know it has been a while, had all my physio on my shoulder which is now a lot better. Things are beginning to settle down at home and I feel the hand has got worse and would like to sort out surgery options. If I need to see you first can you send me an appointment, if not can you let me know what dates are available for the operation?

Thumb Twitching

Over the last week, I've noticed that my thumb twitches for a few seconds, sporadically thought the day. I this normal recovery process a year down the line?

Still in pain

I have been wearing the splits for nearly four weeks but it hasn't made any difference still having a lot of pain not sure what we do next

Further to my appointment on 18th May 2015 when I saw the Practice Nurse, Emma?
After the tests I was given a new pair of splints and it was suggested I contact your clinic in about four weeks.
I can confirm that the pain seems to have subsided, and although there is still continuous tingling/numbness it does not wake me in the night as frequently as it did. I think the new splints have helped and I am also wearing the left hand one during the day, when driving, carrying shopping etc.

Just wanted to let you know how I am getting on. I had to start again at Worthing trust but the nerve study done on a brand new machine confirmed both wrists have CT and so I had surgery done under a local yesterday on the left one by

Symptoms returned

Morning Dr Bland, I have been relatively pain free since the injection in my left wrist in January of this year but in the last few months the pains in both wrist and lower arms has increased to the point of waking me in the night and affecting me even if just sitting. I am currently attending orthopedics appointments for my shoulder and neck and the orthopedic professional has instructed me to contact you regarding this; as she has ruled out any connection to my neck/shoulder pains, should that be through this forum or do I need to contact your office?

Hi has anyone else felt a bit strange after the steroid injection ?
I feel like my face is hot unsure of my movements quite dreamy and my mind is racing..

Carpal tunnel and ulna release

Hi Dr bland. I had surgery last year for grade 5-6 carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and also surgery on both elbows for ulna nerve release. I was disharged by Mr Smith back in January as there is nothing more he can do. I feel my symptoms are worse than what they was before surgery. I've got so much pain. Weakness and knubmness and don't know what to do. Your advice would be very much appreciated. Regards Vicky
