whether to wear splits?
Good evening, I had injections in both my wrists this afternoon, I was just wondering if I should also continue to wear my splints?

Post Operation Update
I had operations on both hands for my CTS last July and September. Although my left hand was operated on first the site is still a little sore and I have to massage it a fair bit to relieve the pain. I assume that this is some residual scar tissue. But, the symptoms of the burning pain and numbness have all but dissapeared. However, I am now experiencing soreness in my thumb joints and any task that requires me to use my thumbs pressing down i.e. unclasping my seatbelt, etc. is very painful. Is this related to the CTS?
Getting more hand problems.
I seem to be getting less numbness now which is good but considerably more pain that seems to be in the middle of the thumb joint/muscle?? It is getting pretty bad and getting so it is painful to practice for any length of time. Was I going get some xrays done or should I make another appointment? Sorry for the trouble, Pete Allen

returning syptoms in left hand
Dear Dr Bland
I had my last steroid injection in my left wrist in Feb 2014 and my last test in 2013. I am currently experiencing severe night pain in my left wrist which is waking me up almost hourly throughout the night. Can you please refer me to Dr Brown for another injection urgently.
many thanks

wrist is red and hurts 2 days after steroid injection
I had a steroid injection in my left wrist on Monday morning this week. My wrist is hurting and is very red still 2 days after the injection. I can't seem to do much with my hand as it aggravates it. I had a steroid injection in the same wrist about 3 years ago and didn't have any problems. Should I be concerned about this, or will it eventually calm down?
Injection update
Dear Dr Bland, it is now just over one month since I had an injection in my left hand. It hasn't worked as well as the injection I had in my right hand May 2014. Although the numbness and tingling in my fingers is no longer a problem my wrist constantly aches, as does my whole arm. With both hands now I find it hard to bend my fingers without pain and discomfort, especially first thing in the morning. When I press the inside of my palms on both hands where the knuckles are it is very tender. I feel everything has tightened up in both hands now.
returning problems.

Operation a success
A big thank you to you and your team. My op 3/01/2015 a huge success Dr Rhine did a marvellous job no more pain and sleepless nights. Hand is functioning as normal now just a slight numbness in the tips of my fingers occasionally but am told that will pass. Also my left hand and arm seems to have cured itself for the moment so I am very happy. Once again thank you so much.
