CTS just starting to come back

Hello, I cant remember when I had my 2nd injection in my right wrist? I think it may have been June 2014? My symptons have just started to come back again. They are not unbearable yet so I have started to wear my splint again & will keep you posted if it get worse which I am expecting over the next week or two, fingers crossed it doesn't. Just wanted you to confirm when I had my last injection done please?

Returning CT

Hi... My CT has returned a year after y last steroid injection... How can I book in for another injection?

Left Hand Problems Have Returned.

Good Afternoon,
I had the steroid injection in both wrists at the end of February this year. The pain and discomfort I had experienced for a long time had gone by the time I got home. I have been symptom and pain free in both hands up until 2 weeks ago. I am pleased to say that my dominant right hand is fine but my left has deteriorated quickly. I am waking up in the night with the pain and associated numbness along with pins and needles. Driving to work is also causing a concern as I have to drop my left arm down by my side as far as I can to relieve the symptoms.

Return Pain after Injection

Hi Had a steroid Injection in Dec 2013, unfortunately after 5 months pain started to return and is now back to what it was and somewhat worse, is it possible to have another injection please, Thankyou Bill [ demoman ]

Right hand pain has now returned.

My left hand has been really good since the opp in Febuary, but the steroid in my right hand has now completely worn off and gives me quite a lot of pain. Could you get me booked in as soon as for a retest and a chat to see where we go with this one please.

surgery to left hand

I have now undergone surgery to release tension on carpel tunnel nerves on 25th October - it has been 2 weeks since the op

Updated Questionnaire

As prompted by email, I have completed a new questionnaire following surgery in August.

My left hand (which was operated on) has improved considerably. I do still have a small amount of swelling and scar tenderness but, as this is improving slowly, I am sure that it is just a matter of time before it goes away completely. I have some numbness in the finger tips but I no longer have any tingling at all in that hand - a huge relief!

Here we go again! Afraid CTS appears to be returning in my right hand this time....any chance of an apt to be re-assessed or just have second injection? Any apt first thing in morning would be fabulous as this limits time off work. Good news re. left hand - swelling almost disappeared and tenderness much reduced; but best of all no return of symptoms in that hand! Yippee! Long recovery but now feel it was the right decision :)

Assorted pains persist

I am still getting lots of assorted pains and some numbness in both hands. I was wondering if the appointment for X-ray will be fairly soon? I am having trouble practicing for the length of time I need to play. Many Thanks, Pete Allen

Update on my wrist

I just wanted to give you an update on my wrist. I visited the fracture clinic in Ashford a few weeks ago and they did an xray which doesn't show anything of interest, they could not see the gaps between the bones on the xray but are going with soft tissue damage and I have now been referred to another clinic in January. The reduced movement continues and writing and using a mouse is frustratingly painful, but I am having no numbness and assume my CTS is remaining dormant :). I will keep you posted on any further news as and when I have any results. Many thanks Michelle
