Numbness and assorted pains returning after injections

I have been getting lots of assorted types of pain in my hands and fingers/thumbs accompanied by numbness. I am wondering whether or not I can keep getting injections, (I think this will be the 4th pair) or is it time for surgery? My neighbor recommended Rory Weatherell as a surgeon, what is your opinion? Many Thanks, Pete

reoccuring pain

I have started suffering from pain again in my wrists mainly right, I have started using wrists supports which is helping, any thoughts please?

after check up

Dear Dr Bland,

Thank you once again for your time to see me and for the new testing last month.
I know the results seemed within normal parameters, but I was wondering if it is at all possible to get tingling when using laptop or driving from CP even if the tests show no nerve damage. Have you encountered this before? Occasionally there is some wrist pain too.

Since the last injections (which helped every time) few years ago I used splints every night and tried really hard to look after my hands, maybe that is why the nerve conduction study came out ok.

3 Months after injections

Hello Dr Bland
It is now 3 months since I had my injections in both wrists. I had a wonderful result all symptoms disappeared in both hands;

after op

hello after the op on right hand on 29 march 2013 then op on left hand 24 may 2013. I am pleased to say all went well & pain free at last. the only problem is it started this week a few pins & needles in right arm & a bit in left hand. not in pain but just wondered if this is a normal thing after op. its just now & again not constant be grateful of your view on this thank you.

Followup on Splints

Started using splints every night after my appointment with you on 14th July. Stopped pins and needles in both hands,

Worsening symptoms

Hi there, for the past couple of months I've had increased numbness in my right hand, usually in the morning, but then fading throughout the day. For the past couple of weeks though, I've had more persistent numbness/tingling at night, in the morning and during the day when I'm doing routine activities.
I would like to see if I could have an injection in my right wrist. My first injection in that wrist was over a year ago.
Many thanks,
Mary Stringer

Split progress

I came to see you yesterday and I am trying the splits as the first option. I thought I would start a post and track my progress, probably more for my benefit! I hope that's ok.

So the first night was a bit strange with both splints on but I did get used to them and had some sleep. I woke up without any pins and needles at all, it was great. Once I was up and started to move around, within the first half an hour I noticed getting some numbness and tingling sensations but only minor. It is worse on my right hand and in my thumb.
