Right hand
I had an injection in both wrists. The left wrist is okay. But the righ hand seems to be getting worse. It was fine for a few months, but as summer came as did the manual labour, gardening and such. Do you feel sugery or another injection would be the best way forward. How do I go about revisiting the clinic?
Regards. Paul

carpal symptons returned
Hi, I had some cortisone injections in both my hands last June
but I have been getting tingling and numbness again. I have been
wearing splints at night which does help but I still get it during the day.
Lump in wrist
Hi Dr Bland,
Since having the injection 2 weeks ago, my symptoms have improved somewhat, but I have a lump on my wrist that is rather sore and I'm wondering if this is keeping the tingling sensation in my wrist. I wasn't sure if I should come back to see you or go to the doctors about it, or just leave it until the operation in August!?
Regards.
possible operation date
Hi Dr Bland
I am contacting you to see if it would be possible to arrange a date for the operation on both hands that we discussed the last time I attended clinic. As you know I am full time teaching and will finish on Wednesday 23rd July. I return on 1st September 2014 Could you please arrange for the operations to take place during this time scale, obviously the earlier the better to allow time to recover. would you do both hands one after the other?
kind regards
Richard Neal
Symptoms returning
Dear Doctor Bland
Following my message of a few months ago I now feel it is time for 2nd injection/s. Having suffered mild symptoms in both hands for a few months, the numbness has increased in the left hand recently and is causing interrupted sleep.
Thank you.
Ian
After injections
Dear Dr Bland It is just over a week since I had my injections so just updating progress. The actual injections were painless, wrists ached for two days afterwards. The injections have not stopped the pins and needles sensation in either hand although I would say it is not as accute as it was before injections. Since the injections I have not had any pain in either arm at night previously this was keeping me awake and I was having to take painkillers. So over all apart from the pins and needles there has been some improvement.
injection not working
I've had the injection in both wrists over 4 mouths ago now and the symptoms have returned mostly to my right hand in my right I can hold a item for a few seconds then hand hurts and goes totally numb as I type this my right is tingling at the tips of the fingers at night I wear the brace on my right but still get woken up by it or when I wake up in morning my right hand is useless for a while until sensation comes back usually after 10-15mins my left is partly effected slight numbness very annoying but still usable.
pins and needles update
Please could you update the doctor I saw at the clinic- pins and needles not completely gone but have improved. Is this still ok? Thanks Paul Agius
Last injection
Hi Emma and Dr Bland
Hope this gets through, sorry I've been a bit lazy not getting in touch, but as per if it doesn't hurt one forgets it.
All is brilliant, long May it continue!!!!
