Symptons have returned ;-(

Hi Dr Bland
Had both my wrists injected about November 2013. Its been fantastic up till a few weeks ago when my symptoms started to come back. My right hand is causing me alot of pain now & waking me up every night this week. My left hand although slight numbness occasionally seems (touch wood) ok at the moment.
Can I come see you to discuss my options again please?
Thanks
E Hale

My symptoms have returned

I have had two lots of steroid injections in both my hands and have been using an alternative method (C-track) to relieve the more severe bouts of numbness and tingling in my hands. I have been symptom free until last month when both hands started hurting and I found it painful to carry shopping or grip anything.

I am an IT support Analyst and my hands hurt during the day because of keyboard use and holding a pen is staring to get difficult again.

feet and ankles

Hi

I forget to ask you the other day on here about my feet and ankles. I get a lot of pain and numbness in my feet and ankles, especially when I try and walk when been sitting down, its that painful I have to shuffle to start with when I walk. do you have nerves in your feet and if so do you think it could be that?

Injections

Hi Dr Bland, I saw you on Monday at my 6 monthly follow up when you suggested leaving my splints off for a week to see if my symptoms returned. They have & it's only day 3! Last night was the worse as I woke 4 times & this morning both hands felt the same with numbness in thumbs, index & middle fingers. They get the feeling back pretty quickly once I move etc but overnight is back to where I was. You mentioned injections - can this be scheduled please?
Many thanks, Caroline Armstrong

surgery

Hello Dr Bland

I saw one of Mr smiths registrars last week, he has put me on the waiting list for surgery on both elbows but i have found out that there is a 3 month wait minimum. Is there anything i can do about this as im in agony constantly to the point where i cannot do any day to activities including personal care.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Return of symptoms after steroid injections

Dr Bland,
I have been to see you several times and have e mailed you recently. I have had both my wrists injected back in November and symptoms returned in February, it has progressively got worse as the weeks have gone on and I think I need the injections again - is this possible for you to arrange ?

Thanks
