Constant pain in wrist and hand
Hi,
Just over 2 months ago I had the injection in my wrist. It had resolved the tingling until last week. I've lost the ability to grip things as small as a fork properly. My knuckles on all joints ache lots. Every finger has become tingling and numb. This has become constant over the last couple of days. I can't get relief from it even with my splint. Please advise as to what I can do.
Back with a vengeance
After nearly a year since my last cortisone injections, the symptoms of numbness and tingling etc. are back with a vengeance.
Can you do anything please?
Thanks.
Advice please
Having received an email reminder I have completed a new questionnaire accordingly. Both my hands are getting slowly and steadily worse.
I’m also having trouble with trigger fingers so some of the pain in my hands is caused by this. I had some injections for this in my left hand a couple of years ago and that’s not too bad, but now the right hand is playing up. I am due to have an injection for this in mid June.
I’m not really sure if I should have the nerve conduction tests again or not at this stage so would appreciate some advice please.

Hi,
Have seen my doctor about my right hand which was operated on by we think Mr Smith but I am not sure about this.
I was told that it could be Keloids, it seems that I have three on the scar. it is getting worse and is very painful.
Kind regards,
Angie
Post Op problem
I have seen a nurse today as I thought I might have another infection in the operation site. The nurse said she thinks the pain is caused by the internal stiches pulling too tight & has made an appointment for me to see my GP. She also told me to let you know via this forum that I am still having problems & pain & that I will probably be sent for an xray.
Steroid inj
Having read the updated version of treatment, my left hand is giving problems, about 18m after the first inj. can I still arrange this direct through you? Both hands were tested last Oct/Nov.

Steriod Injection
Dear Dr Bland and Emma, it is now two weeks since I had a steroid injection in my right hand. It took nearly one week before I could feel any improvement and by day ten things were really looking better. It is so nice to have a full night's sleep without waking up in pain during the night or early morning. I wear my splint during the night which is a great help and on and off during the day, especially if I am ironing. I am just a little anxious that this won't last. How long do the injections last or does it depend on the severity of CT?
My Left Hand...
Dear Dr Bland,
I had a third steroid injection in my left wrist last July, which has been very successful until a few weeks ago. I am sorry to report that I am once again suffering from pins and needles if I hold a phone, steering wheel etc., and even though I wear my splints at night I am woken several times during the night with pins and needles. I would be grateful for an appointment to see you.
Thanks
