Post CTS Pains

Hi,
1. I had all the symptoms of CTS from Jan'17, after my hectic 8 hrs a day working on MS Excel for a week, mostly using the mouse - numbness, stiffness and pains.
2. Having gone through surgery for CTS in the first week of June '17, my right hand fingers are stiff, remain a little swollen and pain all the time. The pain is severe only when i need to move/work/twist/lift etc and pain is not much when idle.

How long things should take?

Hello
I had an injection in my right wrist 20 days ago and I have seen some improvement in my Carpal Tunnel symptoms. The numbness is now not as frequent as it was as I can hold a book with my elbow bent now for more than 60 seconds without my fingers going numb, however I am still having some issues.

CTS symptoms following Dupuytrens surgery/Angle of bar in splint

Most appreciative for the very speedy response and advice. I see from the splint guidance that I don't have the bar set at the correct angle so will adjust and see how that goes.

CTS symptoms following fasciectomy / correct use of splint

I had a fasciectomy late September 17 for Dupuytrens contracture affecting my little finger. Immediate recovery was good and I attended the very helpful hand therapy clinic at K&C. I began experiencing tingling (like stinging from nettles), pain and numbness in my thumb and other fingers but not the operated finger. Worse at night. I described these symptoms to my therapist who thought they might be unrelated to surgery and could indicate CTS.

need a recommendation for a good doctor's office in the US

I found this site and it is very helpful, I was wondering if there are any suggestions for good hand Dr. in the United States. I live in Albany, Georgia and I would be willing to travel. I have what seems like carpal tunnel in both hands,, and I have had 2 surgeries on my right hand with no improvement. my hands get worse the more I use them, so trying to find some solution.

Carpal tunnel surgery and rheumatoid arthritis

I had an open carpal tunnel release done on my left hand ten days ago. Numbness to fingers has stopped and the incision looks good. Pain and swelling have however been severe. I think that the surgery has caused a flare of my rheumatic disease. The thumb, wrist and other joints at the base of my fingers are hot and painful. I have limited ability to flex my wrist forwards or backwards and when I try it causes pain. I can sometimes bring pinkie and thumb together but not always. Pain is bad at night and I don't have a resting splint.

I had surgery for carpal tunnel on my right hand in Jan. All went and minimal pain occasionally now. I do have it in my left, but no severe.
Over the past week i have had severe pain in my elbows, more so my left. It is in the outside and it frustrating. I saw something on 'This Morning' about it being linked to carpal tunnel. Is this correct? What can I do for this>
Thanks in advance.

injection

Just wanted to say thank you To Dr Bland for the fast appointment, testing and assessment, as well as Emma for injecting my wrists so expertly - really took her time and barely felt a thing, no side effects. So far so good and pain much alleviated atm, long may it last....

Post Op Typing

Hi all I had surgery on RH 3 weeks ago, it feels good and healing well. My CTS first started from using mouse/keyboard at work. I have been working using my LH to type emails, but now my hand is feeling better i occasionally start to use my RH without thinking and although ok to begin with, after 5 mins or so my wrist starts to hurt. My questions are; Should i avoid typing with RH at all, and if so, when should i start trying to use it?

Carpal tunnel and Thumb joint replacement surgery

I had surgery 50 days ago, for carpal tunnel and thumb joint replacement, I'm still unable to use my hand, and it's my dominant right hand, my left hand needs both surgeries too. I'm also a diabetic. There is no way I can go through this again. Do you have any information that might help me ? I'm at my wit's end.
