Unexplained new symptoms after CTR

Hi I had open CTR about 3 years ago on my left hand and I am not sure it was a good idea as my symptoms for a long time were mild, however increasing whole-of-arm issues and full spine MRI which showed neck problems led my Neurologist to do Conductive studies which showed moderate CTS and they suggested getting it done even if the neck was part of the problem (sort of elimination treatment with "no risk").

No feeling at all

I have severe wrist arthritis grade 4, no space at all in wrist no space between base of fingers and wrist bones. Hand surgeon recommended a partial scaphoid excision and CTR. I NEVER had classic CTS symptoms. I described a broken wrist in a vice grip. Previous ECM for a second opinion was 5mo after steroid inj showed no CTS, that surgeon recommended surgery too anyway. He wanted to go after my elbow too (no symptoms)…thank you……next. The steroid injection worked well for about 6 mo.

Carpalrx (great success!)

My case in both hands is fairly mild but I just wanted to give some love and attention to the Carpalrx which has without question kept it that way. It was difficult to tell after 2-3 weeks of use (correctly) that anything major was really happening, until yesterday after taking it in to show a PT the treatments were restarted after an absence of 36 hours and the difference in my left hand was ENORMOUS.

Constant numbness of finger tips

Hi all

I've been struggling with Carpal tunnel in my hands for the past 3/4 years

I've had injections on 2 occasions and my doctor said i couldn't have anymore unless i lost some weight.

Been struggling with my weight for the past 10 years. but lately the last 6 months or so in my right hand my fingers are constantly numb.

sometimes i just get used to this feeling and manage but im starting to get worried about it. I've had lots of blood tests for diabetes but that comes back clear.

my left hand (dominant ) has mild numbness definitely not as bad as the right hand.

Dealing with the pain

Hi I’m wondering if anyone can give me suggestions as to how to deal with the pain which is getting worse by the day.
I am already taking some high level pain killers ( Gaberpentine ) for other conditions but I’m finding this pain , an extremely painful/numbing that goes up to my elbow.
And I get the majority of the pain in the mornings, it doesn’t matter if I use it or not it’s still just as painful !!
I would be grateful for any suggestions of pain relief……. Many thanks

Numbness still the same after surgery

Hello. I had endo CT’s release surgery on 1/21/2022 on my left hand. My major issue prior to surgery was the my index finger n thumb have been numb and tingling since September. I went to a very known surgeon and prior to surgery had everything checked from my neck down to eliminate any other possibility. After surgery my index n thumb feel the same. It’s only been a day but I feel no change. I asked dr immediately after surgery post op and he said it was the meds they numbed my hand up.

Bodily Discomfort

I have CTS in both hands and arms. Normally, I wake 4 to 5 times during the night, do some shaking and get back to sleep for an hour or so if I'm lucky.

Some nights, thanks to a combination of exhaustion and too many Tramadol, I might sleep for 3 or 4 hours solid. When I do, I wake up with arms stiff and all the usual CTS symptoms. However, it also seems to be affecting the rest of my body.
