Injection Pain
Hi there
In the Family
Hi Jeremy
Thank you for your time on Monday. I will wear the splints for a few weeks and hope it goes away! It has got mildly worse this week though.
Also I found out that my Older rother had both his hands operated on a few years back for CTS and my younger sister suffers from it mildly and has a special keyboard! Maybe they have 2 nerves going through the tunnel as well!
I'll let you know how I get on next week and if there is any change in pain !
Best wishes
Nigel
Re: Appointment last Monday
Hello Dr Bland.
Thank you for seeing me on Monday. I have been thinking about what you said and have decided to continue using the splint you supplied for about a month and see how I get on. If there is no improvement can I still have an injection as you advised me.
If I decide to have the injection how do I arrange it ?
Kind regards
Driscelia Skinner
Very painful hand
Over the past few weeks I have noticed that after using my hands especially right, to do gardening cleaning etc, they have become extremely painful at night. The pain is across my knuckles and my fingers from knuckles to tips go numb this can take an hour to recover. I have tried using splints again which have offered some relief. I am now concerned after reading the forum, if I wait until the autumn for an operation I may be doing more damage and the operation may not be so successful. Can you advise please

Had the injection on Tuesday. The dull ache to the elbow has gone and I can clench my fist very easily now, but the maddening 'itch' in my finger tips is still there. Am still wearing the splint at night and feel that its helping. Very pleased so far hope the injection continues to work.
Steroid injection
Hi,
I had the steroid injection in my wrists about (roughly) 6months ago and it's been brilliant! It has recently started to 'wear off' and I think I would benefit from another injection? How do I go about booking one? Thanks in advance
injection up date
had injection has made no difference so far thumb has become more pain full pins and needles still present in hand
pleasant and very helpful
i would just like to say how helpful the doc and nurses over there are, they are friendly and the consultant j.b. who runs this site was so nice a explained all to me,the injections was bearable nothing to worry about and even the doctor whom gave the injection was most helpful and nice,as hospitals go we dont like visiting them but the staff at canterbury were all lovely x .
Symptoms Returned!
Hi,
