Pain in elbows

I was recently diagnosed at Canterbury hospital with carpal tunnel and I was given a splint to wear at night. This greatly helps at night with not waking up with the pain and pins and needles.During the day when I am not wearing the splint the pain returns and it has even traveled further down my arms and I now have pain all the time in my elbows. Is this normal?

Splints Update from June

Hi
Sorry I've taken a while to post feedback but thought Id get things stabilised first. Wearing the splints at night has realy helped a lot, I've even been able to stop taking the anti-inflamatories :) I am able to get away with only wearing them every other night now so hubby gets a bit of a break from being clonked with them.
Thanks again
Ashleigh

splints

Hi....I have been using the splints for about ten days now and while wearing them my symptoms seem to have improved a little bit. My question is where can I get another set of them so that I can wash them. Thanks :)

Losing my grip again!

RETURNING SYMPTOMS

Dear Dr Bland
I had an appt with you on 17 June after I had been given coristone injections on 2 June by Dr Bull at Dover. Even with the injections I scored a 3 in the test you gave me on that day and you advised me to contact you after the injections had worn off.

Follow up from appointment on 25 July

Hi there, you saw me on the 25th July for my wrists and gave me splints for both hands grading me level 2 in both. since giving me the splints my pains have lowered a lot considering i used to wake up in the mornings in agony. Although i still have the aches and slight pains still so I'm just letting you know how I've been doing since being given the splints. I'd like to know also about getting another set of splints as working in a kitchen as you can imagine they can get a little grubby very quickly, and if so where can i get some, from you? or can i get them from my GP?
