Return of symptoms

I had left hand operated on in december and it has been great since but symptoms have returned in the right when I saw you before the op you said about having the right one operated on in march.I had hoped I wouldn't need the op but realise the pain is returning and the injection has only helped short term, would you be able to arrange an op or do I have to go through the whole process again of seeing you first?

Cts issues

Since my appointment in August of last year, and subsequent wearing of my hand support, I wish to update you on my progress.
I have no wastage, weakness or pain, just intermittent tingling , numbness and stiffness .

My main issue seems to be numbness, tingling and tightness in my forearm, alternating between the top and bottom consistent with median nerve problems.

No 'bent wrist' exercises have been undertaken since our appointment, and 'straight wrist ' only with good support.
No boxing undertaken for 1 year and 'bag work' has been very light.

Urgent- Update after operation

Hi
I had my operation on my left hand at QEQM 2 weeks by Nick.
Could someone please contact me ASAP to discuss some post op issues as I have developed an infection and my gp wants me to be seen by you.

Thanks

Return of Symptoms

The tingling, numbness etc have returned in my right hand.
It is almost a year since the last injection (my 4th I think).
Is it possible to organise another steriod injection?
I appreciate that I will probably need the nerve conduction tests first, if so Thursday mornings are best for me.
Many thanks

Resulst after injection

I had injections in both wrists on 10th April. When the injection was given in my left wrist I received a shooting pain through my hand, since then I have had a continuous tingling sensation. Is this likely to clear up?

Results of injection

Hi dr bland there has been an improvement in all aspects still have pain going from the tendon up to the thumb slight pins and needles sometimes again up the wrist going towards the little finger

Using support for 6 weeks

Been using splint support for 6 weeks no more waking up at night, forgot one night to wear and was woken early hours with pins and needles as previous symptoms, slight pins and needles during day but bearable as before. I am so pleased, if my symptoms become worse again how do I get to come back to see dr bland?

Injection 4 April

Had a second injection in right hand on 4 April. Immediate after effect was a lot of discomfort and pins n needles. Lasted until late evening. Slept through the night without any discomfort and have done since. Current diagnosis is that no pain. However, if use right hand to do certain chores then get some tingling and pins n needles. Feel it has been successful - thank you once again.
