With this in mind and assuming it will get worse
I am happy to go ahead with surgery booked for

please can change the date from march 24th?

Surgery Off

Afternoon Jeremy.
In reply to your email, Due to the bi-lateral pulminary emolisams, I agree that we should put off the surgery for now. On top of this I was told that I have an infection in my Gawl bladder, and could even be stones. All in all I am falling apart. I will try and get over to you to have the function test again as they have both greatly improved. The right wrist I have no problems with at all and the left I have only ocasional mild pins and needles.

What days are the best to come over for the test.

Update following injections on the 15 December

Post Injections

Hi
I had injections in both wrists on friday. I am just wondering if you know if it is a normal thing after the injections to be having mild but plentiful electric shock like feelings going throu the hands, also is it normal for the veins in your hands to be more prominant than before.
The injections themselves weren't as bad as i was expecting, Just aching from the bruising inside for awhile. But i still seem to be getting these electric shock kind of feelings, I'm just wondering if that is a good or bad thing?

Contacting doctor Bland- Progress

I had the surgery on my L wrist on Wed 25th January, All went well, just have to wait for it to heal and see what happens. I have to return to Monkton Suite in 4 weeks to have a check-up so will keep you updated.

Many Thanks
Amanda Turner

Post steroid injection effects

Following a steroid injection in my L wrist on Thursday, I am sad to say that there is no change in symptoms. I still get the numbness as I described to you Jeremy, I have become aware of a kind of nerve twang if I make certain movements, which is a bit like an electric shock? The pain level for the steroid injection I would rate at 2/3. I give blood on a regular basis so perhaps it helps with regards pain and needles!
The night splint does help me not getting a dead hand which is a good thing. I will remain optimistic and see how the next few days go and post again.
Cheers.
Nick

Change of appointment, if possible, et al?

Hi Doctor,

Two elements to my forum inclusion thus far.

Firstly, would it be possible to change my nerve conduction study date from Thursday 16 February (9.30am) to Friday 17 February (any) please?

Post injection report

Hi Dr Bland. The steroid injection worked for a couple of weeks but the symptoms have come back and i feel surgery is now my only option .
