Update use of splint

Surgery
Mr bland
I had surgery on 25/02/2012. It all went well, scar a little longer than Right hand as the Dr explained,my nerve was trapped a little higher than my right hand ?
I am really in a lot of pain in the middle of my palm, the scar has healed really well, but it feels so painful, the only way to describe it , is it feels like the worst tooth ache ever in my hand ! It is a cramp like feeling that travels up my fingers and thumb. I have tried heat from a hot water bottle, and pain killers but it doesn't help, the pain is constant, and it is waking me up at night. Please can you help ?
Nightly numbness of hand & fingers
Dear Dr Bland
Hand Splint
Dear Dr Bland
I have had the hand splint for over two weeks now. I have noted some improvement but am still getting pain across my right wrist.. Next step/advice?.
More on symptoms
I completed the questionnaire yesterday with very low scores. My GP still wants me to have the test because of my history of symptoms: I have had repeated flare ups over the past 6-10 years. The worst was Sept 2011 - within 1 week of starting regular work on keyboard after several years of other work, my hands were greatly swollen, tingling in ring and little finger constantly for more than a week. Severe pain, unable to lift even moderately heavy objects, severly limited ability to work.
Hand no better after splinting
I can to see you on 1 march have been wearing the splint ever since and still no relief from the pain or numbness, can you pease recommend something else, sleeping is becoming a real problem. Thanks
