R.E carpal tunnel left hand

I had my right hand done four months ago . i am still waiting for call back to have left hand done.
Which has deteriorated somewhat during the ensuing months and am finding it difficult to do basic things now .
I understood that I would be called back within three months to have it done.

Thank you for your time

Appointment for Dr Bland

Dear Dr Bland,

Further to your note of the 06/06/2012 there seems to be some problems regarding contacting me. After my last note dated May 2012 where I stated I would be seeing the Doctor in Faversham on the 07/06/2012 regarding a follow up on the injection. This I did. He advised that I contact you as soon as possible. This I did on the 08/06/2012 via your office.

Return of symptoms

I had a steriod injection in December, in both wrists. My left cts responded well, no further discomfort. However, the symptoms have returned in my right hand, numbness at night, and pain and discomfort during the day. Oddly the pain appears to be located in the area where the injection was administered. Is that normal?
Dispite the injection being extremely painful, is there any possibility of another one? I really don't want to have surgery!

Upper arm and shoulder pain.

Good morning Dr Bland,
Since seeing you in your clinic, I have had 1 steroid injection in my right wrist. The results for my hand and wrist were very good. However I now have pain in my upper arm and shoulder which is waking me up at night, it is also present during the day, do you think this is related to CTS. I also have regained some numbness in my right hand and fingers.
Thanks for your time Jacqui

Questionnaire done

Hi
I have just completed an up to date severity test.
Also is there a medical name for the symptoms i have in my wrist or is it C.T.S??
I would like the full medical name if possible so i can add it to my government questionnaire.....???!!
Many thanks
lee

CTS symptoms return

My first cortizone injection was in Nov 09 and my CTS symptoms returned in April 2011. My second injection was in June 2011 and my symptoms have again returned in the last couple of months. I have numbness and tingling in my right thumb, index and middle finger, which mainly comes on at night or when I am driving.

Results Of My Steriod Injection

Hi Dr Bland

Just letting you know how I've got on after my steriod injection on the 17th May 2012. First couple of nights seemed Ok but am now back to pins and needles / numbness in my left hand. Although so far it is not as bad as before the injection (still continues in the right but have had no treatment on this hand). Saw my GP for something unrelated and he mentioned that a second injection is sometimes preformed ? Hoping we can find a solution.

Michelle

PS. Sorry if you've go this twice. It's my first posting and was not sure where to post.

Return of CTS symptons

Dr. Bland:

You asked me to contact you if / when CTS symptons returned post-steroid treatment received at Faversham on 9 February 2012 .

Regret to say that they have returned within the past week - brought on by some home decorating I think.

The 'pins and needles' and pain in the right hand are now quite strong, along with stiffness in my right thumb and index finger.
Also there is a return of the 'associated problem' of pain in my right shoulder/ upper arm; and my sleep is being disturbed. once again.

Would greatly appreciate your help and advice.

Kindest regards.
